Joe, I send in my resignation<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p-text\">The source of Busch\u2019s frustration: The new NASCAR aerodynamic rules don\u2019t correlate with his strength of being able to lift off the throttle later than others going into the turn and picking it up earlier. I try to drive as hard as I can, as fast as I can. If there\u2019s a car in front of me, I try to pass him. Whichever way I can do that, I try to do it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p-text\"><a data-track-label=\"inline|intext|n\/a\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/nascar\/2019\/06\/02\/cup-series-pocono-400-kyle-busch-wins\/1320711001\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Busch led 79 of the final 105 laps at Pocono<\/a>, losing the lead primarily only because drivers were on different pit strategies and regaining the lead when the slower cars pitted.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p-text\">\u201cIf I can\u2019t do (that pass), there\u2019s days that I get ultimately frustrated because I don\u2019t feel like my true talent can show on the racetrack because I\u2019m too limited by the air of everything that\u2019s kind of going on around me that I can\u2019t do anything,\u201d Busch said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p-text\">Brad Keselowski, with three wins this year, <a data-track-label=\"inline|intext|n\/a\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/sports\/nascar\/results\/2019\/cup-series\/5129\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">finished second in the Pocono 400<\/a>, primarily with pit strategy. He said the 20th-place car could have won that race if out front.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p-text\">\u201cIt\u2019s definitely less challenging than it\u2019s ever been, but that\u2019s the rules that NASCAR wants and we just try to make the most of them,\u201d Keselowski said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p-text\">The issue is NASCAR is working to find an aerodynamic package that will work with an engine that creates 550 horsepower instead of 750 horsepower because it believes new engine manufacturers would be more willing to enter the series with a target of 550hp. It has packaged that engine with a large rear spoiler in hopes of creating a draft. That has happened at some tracks, and at others it has caused such turbulent air that cars can\u2019t get close to each other.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p-text\">Denny Hamlin, who has two wins this year, said a driver has to enter the race at certain tracks with realistic expectations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p-text\">\u201cUnless your crew chief comes up with a great strategy or you\u2019re able to stay up front all day like the 18 (of Busch) did, it\u2019s just impossible,\u201d Hamlin said. \u201cIt\u2019s not that it\u2019s hard to pass, it\u2019s impossible unless someone in front of you makes a mistake.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"story-inline-cta\">\n<div class=\"nssm-container nssm-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"nssm-success-msg\">\n<div class=\"nssm-success-noauth\">\n<p>Thank you!
