They played with us and laughed with us and showered us with toys. We sure did love our families, especially the little girls and boys. These are the things we will not forget \u2013 a cherished memory. Now we are in the shelter \u2013 without our families. “You only have one day left”, we heard the worker say. “Does that mean we have a second chance? Do we go home today?\u201d???
