Many are outraged that the Florida school shooting<\/a> may have been averted had authorities taken threats about Nikolas Cruz<\/a><\/strong> seriously, Radaronline.com<\/em> has learned.<\/p>\n According to BuzzFeed News<\/a><\/em>, the Broward County Sheriff\u2019s Office received two calls warning them of Cruz.<\/p>\n The most recent call took place in November 2017. In addition, at least 18 more calls from 2008 to 2017 were tips about Cruz\u2019s violent behavior.<\/p>\n PHOTOS: \u2018Bloody Bodies, Screams & Gunshots!\u2019 Orlando Survivor Relives Massacre<\/a><\/p>\n In 2016, one call specifying that Cruz had planned to \u201cshoot up\u201d his high school was forwarded to the school resource officer, Scot Peterson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Peterson recently resigned following a scathing video revealing he stood outside the school and stayed idle as students were being murdered.<\/p>\n Before resigning, the Sheriff\u2019s Office had suspended him pending an investigation into his behavior during the shooting<\/a> and the signs leading up to that tragic day.<\/p>\n PHOTOS: Married To A Madman: Orlando Killer Omar Mateen\u2019s Divorce Revealed<\/a><\/p>\n On November 30, 2017, one individual called the Sheriff\u2019s Office to report that a \u201cschool shooter\u201d was in the making and that he was collecting weapons, according to records BuzzFeed<\/em> obtained. The caller added that he was concerned Cruz would \u201ckill himself.\u201d<\/p>\n Then on February 14, Cruz walked into Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and opened fire<\/a>. Seventeen were killed and over 50 were injured.<\/p>\n
