A special lecture by Randy Blakely<\/a>, Ph.D., executive director FAU Brain Institute kicks off activities celebrating Brain Awareness Month at Vanderbilt. Blakely\u2019s talk, \u201cWhen Cocaine Just Won\u2019t Do: ADHD and Serotonin-Dopamine Crosstalk,\u201d will be held Thursday, March 14<\/strong>, 10 a.m., in 214 Light Hall.<\/p>\n Vanderbilt graduate students worked with faculty advisors to develop a series of campus events celebrating brain awareness as part of a nationwide effort of the Society for Neuroscience<\/em> to promote the benefits of brain research. Brain Blast, an extensive hands-on experience aimed at children, is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday,\u00a0March 16<\/strong>, at the Downtown Nashville Public Library.<\/p>\n Paul A.
