James Dolan really doesn\u2019t want to hear the cries for him to sell the Knicks.<\/p>\n
As Dolan walked away from his courtside seat at Madison Square Garden in the closing minutes of the Knicks\u2019 loss to the Kings on Saturday<\/a> afternoon, a fan yelled \u201cSell the team!\u201d at the billionaire owner, as seen in a video posted by TMZ<\/a>.<\/p>\n Dolan, flanked by security guards, stopped by the railing and responded to the fan by saying, \u201cDo you really think I should sell the team?\u201d He then asked the fan if he would like to not come to anymore Knicks games and called him rude. The unidentified fan asked why he wouldn\u2019t be able to come to games and said he was just giving \u201can opinion.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cNo, it\u2019s not an opinion,\u201d Dolan said as he walked off into the tunnel. \u201cAnd you know what, enjoy watching them on TV.\u201d<\/p>\n Dolan then signaled for security to deal with the fan, who was held while two cops and security arrived to ID and question him before instructing him to leave, according to TMZ. It is not clear if the fan has been banned.<\/p>\n \u201cOur policy is and will continue to be that if you are disrespectful to anyone in our venues, we will ask you not to return,\u201d a Garden spokesperson said in a statement Saturday evening.<\/p>\n The Ringer\u2019s Bill Simmons reported in February<\/a> that Dolan is listening offers for to the franchise. The Garden immediately denied the report.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
