And 77g are considered &#8216;added&#8217; sugars.<\/p>\n<p>Sugars can either be&#8230;<br \/>\nNatural: fruits, vegetables, legumes, grains, etc&#8230;<br \/>\nAdded: orange juice and other processed foods<\/p>\n<p>10% of total calorie intake should come from sugars (per US Dietary guidelines)<\/p>\n<p>So, the real issue isn&#8217;t &#8216;added&#8217; sugars, it&#8217;s just eating too much sugar. &#8216;Added&#8217; doesn&#8217;t act differently in the body.
