PHOENIX \u2014 The Knicks inherited the worst record in the NBA from the Suns after Monday\u2019s loss to Sacramento<\/a>.<\/p>\n The battle for the bottom will rage on Wednesday with the Knicks (13-51) in town to face the Suns (14-51). <\/p>\n If these squads remain the bottom two, they\u2019re both assured a top-six pick in the lottery. <\/p>\n (The team that \u201cwins\u2019\u2019 out for worst record can\u2019t fall past the No. 5 pick.)<\/p>\n With Knicks fans ravenous about this lottery despite it not being a deep draft, here\u2019s a look at the top six prospects. As one college scout cautions, \u201cAfter the top two, it\u2019s shaky and it will shake to a froth as it gets closer.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n 1. Zion Williamson The world-famous manchild\u2019s No. 1 stock hasn\u2019t taken a blow since he blew out his sneaker and sprained his knee<\/a>. Team executives hope the 6-foot-8, 285-pound dunk machine returns for conference tournament play so they can dissect more of the freshman\u2019s explosive game \u2014 and see if he can improve from long range or develop a pull-up jumper. \u201cHe\u2019s not LeBron,\u2019\u2019 one NBA executive said recently.<\/p>\n 2. RJ Barrett Williamson\u2019s absence has given Barrett a chance to further showcase his silky driving game. In a four-game stretch without Zion, the 6-7 Canadian one-and-done averaged 25.8 points on 54.7 percent shooting, along with, eight rebounds and six assists, heading into Duke\u2019s game Tuesday night against Wake Forest. Can Barrett overtake his mate? It\u2019s not out of the question.<\/p>\n 3. Ja Morant, The Knicks\u2019 desperate need for a point guard was lessened as they groom Dennis Smith Jr., but the Murray State phenom is a creative triple-double. Great vision and a respectable 3-point shooter, he still has bouts of being turnover-prone. His numbers glow as he averages 24.1 points, 10.3 assists, 5.5 rebounds.<\/p>\n 4. Jarrett Culver He\u2019s on the rise \u2014 a 6-6 athletic swingman in his sophomore year, perhaps making him a little more ready than the freshmen. Culver defends, can score from anywhere, has length, versatility and impressed with 25 points against Duke at the Garden.<\/p>\n 5. Cam Reddish The 6-8 third wheel hasn\u2019t increased his draft worth since the season began, but he could turn into the best two-way player of the Blue Devil trio with his 7-1 wingspan. Despite a smooth jumper, it\u2019s bizarre how he can float out of games, and his .365 shooting percentage is Kevin Knox-like.<\/p>\n 6. Rui Hachimura With a 7-2 wingspan, bulky frame and strong basketball IQ, there\u2019s a lot to love about this two-way combo forward from Japan who plays Knox\u2019s position. Knicks GM Scott Perry scouted Gonzaga over the weekend. The one red flag is he\u2019s not the super athletic type Perry usually prefers. He also has to work on his 3-point shot.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
