Chris Watts<\/strong>\u2018 late wife Shanann<\/strong>\u2018s parents have given a heartbreaking interview to ABC\u2019s 20\/20<\/a>, sharing their painful thoughts about him killing her and their grandchildren.<\/p>\n On the Friday night broadcast, Sandra<\/strong> and Frank Rzucek<\/strong> also revealed how they felt about Chris before the gruesome nightmare began.<\/p>\n As RadarOnline.com has extensively reported, cold-blooded Chris murdered pregnant Shanann, 34, and their two young daughters, Bella and Celeste, in August at their Colorado home.<\/p>\n Chris had strangled his wife and smothered the girls; he buried Shanann in shallow grave in a crude oil field where he worked and put their daughters\u2019 bodies in oil tanks. Bella and Celeste\u2019s skin had fallen off after their little corpses were discovered<\/a>.<\/p>\n The murders devastated Shanann\u2019s parents and her mom Sandra told 20\/20, \u201cYou know someone asked me a question one day, \u2018Sandy how are you standing?\u2019 Well, I have a fight to fight. That\u2019s my daughter. She did so many things. She had her hand in everything,\u201d Sandra proudly recalled.<\/p>\n Sandra said her daughter, suffering from the autoimmune disorder and expecting her third child, a boy, with Chris, \u201cnever gave up\u201d and kept a \u201cvision board.\u201d<\/p>\n According to Shanann\u2019s dad Frank that was \u201cto make sure her children had everything they ever needed.\u201d<\/p>\n PHOTOS: The Most Infamous Cold Case Murders<\/a><\/p>\n The Rzuceks said that Chris had appeared to be extremely distant before the murders.<\/p>\n According to Sandra, Shanann \u201cjust couldn\u2019t understand why he was so cold<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n It was a far cry from most of their marriage when Chris \u201cdid everything he could for her to make her happy.
