George<\/strong><\/a> and Amal Clooney<\/strong><\/a> have donated $500,000 to help fund March For Our Lives.<\/p>\n The power couple donated to the cause created after students at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida were victims of a senseless act of violence when a shooter opened fire and killed 17 people.<\/p>\n \u201cAmal<\/strong> and I are so inspired by the courage and eloquence of these young men and women from Stoneman Douglas High School,\u201d George<\/strong> said in a statement (via Deadline<\/a>). \u201cOur family will be there on March 24 to stand side by side with this incredible generation of young people from all over the country, and in the name of our children Ella<\/strong><\/a> and Alexander<\/strong><\/a>, we\u2019re donating 500,000 dollars to help pay for this groundbreaking event.
