Oscar Isaac<\/strong><\/a> is looking simply angelic on the cover of the Spring 2018 issue of GQ Style<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s what the 38-year-old Annihilation<\/em> star had to share with the mag:<\/p>\n On if he\u2019s committed to another Star Wars<\/em> movie:<\/strong> \u201cThis is my understanding. I don\u2019t really read what I sign. [laughs] But from what I\u2019ve been told\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n On why he lives in New York and not Los Angeles:<\/strong> \u201cI just feel anxious when I\u2019m there. And I just get annoyed with myself more. It\u2019s not L.A., it\u2019s me. There are definitely a lot of tempting things about it. It\u2019s like the ring in Lord of the Rings\u2014you put it on and you\u2019re like, \u2018Whaooo, no!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n On his decision to marry <\/strong>Elvira Lind<\/strong><\/a>: \u201cTons of reasons. She\u2019s Danish\u2014she\u2019s not a citizen, and she was very pregnant, and there was an element of figuring out \u201cWell, where are we going to be?\u201d And us wanting to be a family unit a bit more. Also, the Danes, they don\u2019t really believe in marriage. I think it has a lot to do with the equality of the sexes over there. Marriage doesn\u2019t mean anything financially, because the state takes care of people. So the marriage itself becomes less important. But, you know, at the time, right before it happened, my mom was ill, and so I saw her carrying my child, bathing my sick mom\u2014seeing her do that, I just thought: I want to be with this person forever and ever. And I just wanted to take that extra step as well.
