Hollywood star Drew Barrymore<\/a><\/strong> admits that she puts her family before her career now.<\/p>\n Barrymore, 42, who has two daughters<\/a>, Olive<\/strong>, 5, and Frankie<\/strong>, 3, with former husband Will Kopelman<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n She revealed: \u201cI am a really hard worker. When I had my two children I put acting on the back burner because I wanted to be able to be a mum.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019d been acting my whole life, so it felt like no sacrifice to back away from it for a few years so that I could be there to raise my kids.<\/p>\n PHOTOS: Wet & Wild! Every parent probably feels this way: like it\u2019s never enough, and you want to do more.<\/p>\n \u201cI know I\u2019m working hard, but when my children are first in my life that\u2019s when I have the balance right.\u201d<\/p>\n Drew divorced the girls\u2019 father, art consultant, Will Kopelman, after four years of marriage in 2016, but the pair remain on remarkably good terms and both live in New York<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI have this big family that came with my kids,\u2019 she explains, \u2018because I love my kids\u2019 grandparents and cousins \u2013 and we\u2019re all so close that it\u2019s as if nothing has changed, really,\u201d she adds.<\/p>\n When she is not being a \u2018mom\u2019 Barrymore enjoys to spend time with her best friends Cameron Diaz<\/a><\/strong> and Gwyneth Paltrow<\/a><\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n
