I appreciate you showing the set up–but could you do a slow tutorial about how to do the icord edge on both sides of this shawl? I got 3/4 through my nightshift and then put it down for 6 months and when I started up again, I couldn't make how to do the edging (especially on the wrong side. I love this shawl so much but I'm just brain fogged out of how to do it.
Hi hallo from switzerland working on My Night Shift Schal and Open it Augen starting new
Thank you for this informative tutorial. May I make one suggestion to: The gentleman who is in charge of the camera, please don't keep moving it around so quickly. Focusing on the specific item works much better than constant moving and keeps eyes from getting tired while viewing.
Thank you for sharing the video. This is my first project with adding different colours.
How did you know when to add a stitch marker? It’s not in the instructions? Thank you ? Mandy
I like the Mauve colors. I’ve got scarfs and a shawl on my needles. Thank you for the chance to win this giveaway!!
What a pitty :the barber pole yarn isn’t easy to watch clearly at, especially because the close-up on the cast-on and setting rows isn’t «close » enought. I watch the video on my I pad. Yet the tips are excellent and the project great. Many thanks from ??
I'm starting the knightshift In section One row 1 after the parenthese it says to the last 4 sts is it knit or purl
and row 2 after the parenthese it says to the last 3 sts is it knit or purl ??
What a beautiful shawl, you have a great combination of colors. I like that having a big stash of leftover yarns and what better way to put them to use than coordinate a new color scheme. I might come out with a fantastic shawl. Thank you for the instructions, clever way to display all the colors.
I'm from Cary, NC I'm new to Mosaic knitting
I Like the grey combination .
Working on the Night Shift Shawl,
I’m from Bristol, Pa
I would word your video differently, I would call it Andrea Mowry’s Nightshift Shawl. Otherwise you will have people confusing you with Andrea as she also has videos on YouTube.
Are you slipping purlwise?
Pink and grey is beautiful
I am knitting my first shawl, a triangular in worsted weight yarn. I am from a little town SE of Portland, Oregon.
To much unnesesary Talking.
ChiaGoo interchangeables have cord connectors that allow you to use different sized cords to needles. Check the website.
I love, love, love them.
This is amazing. . . seeing that I spent over $300 for my Comfort Fade Cardi. . . and with my luck, I won't like the color once I've finished. Which may be well into the winter of of 2020. I'm a newbie.
I get confused is Row 2 in Section 1. It says slip 1 and knit 1. It seems to double stitches on each of those. Is that correct?
Regarding the “memory” cables – a simple solution is to dip the cable in a bowl of very hot water for a few seconds. Then dry with a towel while holding the cable taut for a few seconds. Problem solved ??♀️. Thank you for the short tutorial. I will be starting on this shawl next month. Wish me luck ??
Thank you for the comment about the cord memory and ChaioGoo needles. Going to try some. Beautiful work!!
