I have a question here and i am not an American. In most countries Ive been in this may not happen as the driver turning would have seen that other car as a possible risk and would have slowed down. Most drivers in other countries practice defensive driving but that doesn’t seem to be the case in the US. US drivers seem to put their trust in other drivers doing the right thing. It fascinates me
