I fly fighters for the military (y’all will make fun of me for bragging… not the point here) and I can testify that this is way fuckin cooler!
I love the use of helmets in death sports. Just something about a person not giving up after they’ve already hit terminal velocity.
I imagine this would feel like what it feels like watching a movie at the theater and sitting in the front row
How does someone determine this is feasible without dying trying.
How do you land in one of these??

Almost everyone that developed wingsuits have died from wingsuits accidents. There’s a few vids online of people being totalled. One that sticks out is a guy tried to fly under or over a walk bridge and he clips the bridge sending him flipping down a canyon

I would faceplant so hard

I see these videos and, like, there’s no way this kind of stuff can possibly be safe, right? Like even if you know what you’re doing there’s no way you aren’t taking crazy risks flying that close to the ground.
Here’s a horrible thought: somewhere on the internet there is a vault of videos just like this, but with a very different – and sudden – ending
I wish I could do this as a job.
