Free Travel For Women: Women's Safety Or Political Gimmick?
Woman in Delhi can soon travel free on public transport, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced today, days after his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was wiped out in all seven Lok Sabha seats in the recent national election. The move, which is yet to be cleared by the centre, will be launched in three months, said Mr Kejriwal, adding that it would cost the Delhi government Rs. 700 crore this year. On whether he needed to run the plan by the Centre, given Delhi’s partial statehood status, he replied in the negative.

Transport should be free for all. Private taxis should be made free and govt should pay these companies. Give free electricity and water too. It would be even better if govt paid people for staying at home.

Women workforce is declining in urban areas: one big reason for this is because most of them are joining colleges…lots of them are leaving jobs for higher education also, which is a good trend. Please read the reports thoroughly. Don't start talking just by reading the name of the report…?

If we talk about "Women Empowerment" this is a shame on the women gender. Women are earning and they are contributing to family hence this "free" gesture shows that women are weak and can't take care off themselves. Delhi govt. should spend this 800 corer to the women safety and not to show them the down road of diluted moral and social schema.
