Lebanese singer Elissa has raised a great deal of controversy among the pioneers of social networking sites because of her statements about Syrians and Palestinians in Lebanon.

Elissa said in her remarks on the sidelines of the Mawazine Festival, which is being held in Morocco in its 18th session, that she hopes for the return of the Syrian and Palestinian refugees to their country because it is their first, denying any presence in Syria during the current period. in it.

She added that she loves the Syrian people and respects them, but she wants them to return to their country, because Lebanon is no longer absorbing these large numbers of refugees, as well as the loss of many jobs for the Syrians in Lebanon.

"I will always support my country and my people, their right to work opportunities, and to respect the refugees at the same time," she said.

Elissa returned to resume her artistic activity and held a concert at the Mawazine Festival in its 18th session, entitled "Mawazine, the rhythms of the world". She is preparing for her new album. The Lebanese singer has so far settled on five songs, including "Love and Interest" , And songs by Ziad Barji, and "Coffee of the Past" lyrics by Siham Shaashaa, composed by Mohammed Rahim, and another song by the poet Ali Mawla.
