…it’s a girl
That was fuckin awesome. Stay safe out there guys and thank you
Pretty sure it’s aluminum.
Going pretty fast to be lead.
You can’t say that word anymore. The PC version is
#Fire Mentally Challengedant Material
Y’all doing good work. Now let’s work on controlled burns so the fires aren’t hot enough to destroy everything and create moonscapes where nothing can live, not even bacteria that keeps soils productive. Low intensity fires are natural and productive. When low intensity fires are suppressed, you get these kinds of fires that kill everything
That is a very large airplane
Also known as chemtrails.
That’s what it looked like when the night king speared Dany’s dragon.
Holy hell college is getting to my head. I briefly looked at the title and asked myself “How in the hell did they get a lead plane to fly?”
Jesus, flying blind that close to the ground must be insane. One wrong calculation and there will be another wildfire.
My father was a Birddog. Unfortunately he died in a plane crash putting out a fire.
That’s cool that they have a guide plane (assuming it has a more technical name…)
The lead plane looked like a king air 200, anyone know the speed that thing was doing? Looked like 230 maybe 250? The DC10 looked like maybe 180 or so. Anyone have any experience flying the lead plane?
And now your budget for next year was blown in that pass. Amazing shot though.
But I’m sure you guys would probably sell your soul to have A-10 Firehog air tankers doing that kind of drop inside of a Canyon or narrow valleys https://www.reddit.com/r/WeirdWings/comments/cngbqk/the_a10_firehog_an_a10_used_as_a_air_tanker_the/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
When momma be chasing you around the house
I need a documentary about those planes ASAP.
Don’t sink. Don’t sink.
Did you know that that stuff is 3$ a pound?! And those planes carry enough to cover 3 miles in minutes. So you do the math. That’s was just a lot of money you just saw being poured out.
But it’s well worth it.
Bighorn fire that took place in Tucson Arizona
Fire and forget boys!
Are you the firefighter recording that? If you are, thank you, and every day of work you do is r/nextfuckinglevel
The pilots of these firefighting planes have to be amongst the best in the world to fly that low and not hit something. Some of them get mighty close.
So the mustache really is the sign of a fireman
Those things scare me
Now show us the 747.
Man it’s a sight to behold when those thicc bois skim the treetops.
They still use DC 10s?
Thats so cool it looks unreal
