Scientific research has ranked the attractiveness of a number of celebrities in the list of the most handsome in the world, based on the scale of "physical perfection."

Scientific research Global superstar Robert Pattinson was crowned the most sexy and handsome man in the world, with a score of 92.15%, according to the Greek golden ratio of beauty (Phi).

The percentage Pattinson obtained denotes a person's attractiveness by observing measurements of lips, chin, eyes and other facial features.

The list was developed using the latest computerized mapping technology, by a Harley Street plastic surgeon, Dr. Julian de Silva, who uses the technology in his work.

Dr. De Silva, who runs the Center for Facial Plastic Surgery in London, said: Robert Pattinson was our clear winner, when all the elements of the face were measured for physical perfection.

The doctor added, that Pattinson was in the top five in almost all categories, because he had such classic features and a wonderful sculpted jaw, and George Clooney retreated from the top of the group, but he is still a largely beautiful man, but he lost part of the size in the face.

He continued, these new computer mapping techniques allow us to solve some mysteries about what makes someone physically beautiful, and the technology is useful when planning patient surgery.

This method of measuring beauty is originally considered by the ancient Greeks, as they invented the golden ratio in an attempt to measure beauty.

The hypothesis behind this says that the closer the face or body ratios are to the number 1.618 (phi), the better.
