Sean Yoro, an artist from Hawaii, paints his murals on precarious surfaces: melting icebergs or the burnt bark of trees. His latest project is no exception: The series is titled “Dead Seads,” and he painted it underwater while freediving, a form of diving which involves breath-holding and no scuba gear. He hopes the work, which took him a year and a half to complete, will raise awareness about dying coral reefs. (?: Sean Yoro)
