Why are people calling this the “se 2” if it’s not nearly as small as the se? More like the “8+ 2” ?

Why would you get the iPhone 9 over so many other almost high-end and value-centered android phones in markets such as India? Literally no reason people in India to buy this ugly old design of the iPhone 9 in comparison to flagship killers from Xiaomi, Huawei, Pocophone, and Redmi. The apple ecosystem is irrelevant over there as most people just have phones and hate Apple anyways. I’m an iPhone 11 pro user and tend to like your videos but your reasoning in this sounds ridiculously ignorant and stupid

Oh my gosh! Having a same form factor as iPhone 8 will be a sad demise of industrial design language of iPhone 5, 5S and SE.
My dad is still on 5S and is adamant to not switch to any other iPhone just because of its form factor which is so comfortable to use in one hand.
But here’s also a thing that you need to know about India is that it’s NOT A LOW PAYING JOB country – by no means at all. In fact, cost of living index in India is higher than that in The States. An avenger middle class Indian is loving quite high on the hog compared to an average middle class American. Even then, iPhones are now pretty ubiquitous in India given its lot expensive here than in the US. While the first $1000 iPhone in America was iPhone X, Indians have been paying $1000+ for iPhone for far longer than in The States. On top of that, Apple is not giving any tax benefit to Indian customers for the iPhones that are made in India. So, it doesn’t make any sense for you to say that Indians would get cheaper iPhone just because Apple start manufacturing newer iPhones in India that would give them tax benefits.
Had the iPhone 8. Worst phone i've ever had.weak battery low resolution and dated design.
iphone 9 is just refurbished iphone 8.Tthere are better alternatives.
Though the Indian smartphone market is colossal, a $399 iPhone in India would still peg itself in the medium price range, which is already crowded with phones from OnePlus, Xiaomi and Samsung. Coupled with a slowing economy and a decline in consumer spending, it wouldn't be a surprise to see it not performing well.

Your videos are the best and underated
They just want to cut into the resale market for iPhone 7's and 8's. The world doesn't need any more smartphones. I'd be willing to bet there are enough smartphones on the planet right now that run recent functional versions of either Android or iOS to last humankind another 5-10 years. I just sold my iPhone 7+ and bought a 15 month old XS Max 256GB for USD$600. It will be good for years to come. The iPhone '9' will cost more than a second hand XS Max.
It may be, but only if Apple keeps the price below $400 and equips this iPhone with a minimally decent battery as in the models after the iPhone XR.
iPhone 6 here, and still regretting upgrading from iPhone 4, which was better in many ways. Besides pointless apps for socially-challenged kids, is there any point in buying the 9?

Well ofcourse iPhone is not a good choice in India because Apple sells sells iPhone at the rate of $1=~100 INR but it is actually 1$=70.50 INR. So while the iPhone 11 Pro Max 64 GB costs $ 1,099 in the US, costs over $1700 in India. That's 50% profit per model sold in India!

Wondering if those would also be available in the western world, still rocking my iPhone 8 because it's still good enough and every iPhone, except for the X,XS and 11pro, is just too big for my liking.
If this one doesn't make it to the western European countries I'll probably just snag an iPhone 11 pro though
