The father of the Egyptian songwriter Tamer Hussein died on the evening of Thursday 5 September, and the artist announced the news of death through his personal pages on social networking sites.

Tamer Hussein said, in the mourning of his father: "My father Hussein Saad Ibrahim in the protection of God, we ask you Fatiha and pray for him and all of us dead with mercy and forgiveness and we took solace to the graves and thank God for your quest."
Tamer Hussein's tweet won many comments from his followers who wished his father mercy and patience for his departure, including a large number of stars of art in Egypt and the Arab world.
