A number of art and singing stars flocked to Hassan El-Sharbatly Mosque in the 5th Compound to offer condolences to the poet Tamer Hussein in his father's death.

A number of artists were keen to be present from the first few minutes, including composer Amr Mostafa, Hany Ramzy, composer Tamer Ali, composer Islam Zaki, composer Walid Saad, Karim Mohsen, music distributor Toma.

Also present were Hamid El Shaery, Poet Amir Toaima, Singers Ramy Gamal, Ahmed Gamal, Artist Ahmed Hatem, Mohamed Rahim, Composer Madian, Singer Mohamed Serag, Bahaa El Din Mohamed, Aziz El Shafie, Distributor Ahmed Ibrahim, Nader Abdullah, and Singer Mina Atta.

The father of the Egyptian songwriter Tamer Hussein died on the evening of Thursday 5 September, and the artist announced the news of death through his personal pages on social networking sites.

Tamer Hussein said, in the mourning of his father: "My father Hussein Saad Ibrahim in the protection of God, we ask you Fatiha and pray for him and all of us dead with mercy and forgiveness and we took solace to the graves and thank God for your quest."

Tamer Hussein's tweet won many comments from his followers who wished his father mercy and patience for his departure, including a large number of stars of art in Egypt and the Arab world.
