My father skiing for the first time in years after a life

[ad_1]

My father skiing for the first time in years after a life threatening ski accident that left him in the hospital for 30 days. He was on a walker for a year and finally regained the confidence to walk just this year. Then he hit the family with this. Glad to see he’s doing well.

That’s awesome dude, high five your dad for me!
That title is why I never want to ski in my lifetime.
And congrats to your dad!
Will he be returning to Formula 1 ?
Awesome. This is encouraging. I am struggling with a knee injury and will miss the next snowboarding season here. Still waiting to get surgery but one of my hope is to get back snowboarding since my son started recently.
Yea Dad!
Where was this footage taken?
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I used to be a major big time skier until a torn ACL took me off the slopes. Now “advancing years syndrome” has set in and kept me from many things, but YOUR FATHER is my inspiration to put on my old re-entry, single buckle, Hanson boots and bear trap bindings on my 208 Hart skis and TRY AGAIN!
THANK YOU! Slide on!
I ski myself and if I weren’t able to ski I would be mega depressed. Go dad!
Tremblant?
He vibin’ bro
I feel like that a weird way to talk about your dad lol, ‘glad to see hes doing well’
Fool me once…
This hits because my father just tore his rotator cuff and completely cut the rest of his season off, which sucks because he’s a ski instructor. Props to OP’s dad
That’s big to still do what you love after such a traumatic event.
What a madlad. Big props
What an inspiration!
Your body never forgets its passion.
I broke my leg skiing and I already don’t know if I’m ever going to ski again. Props to your dad for facing his fears and going out of his comfort zone, I can’t imagine how hard this may have been for him.
My brother shattered his leg in 9 places with a bone sticking out of it at the scene which then got infected causing the doctors to just nearly have to amputate it. He made a full recovery over the course of about 3 years…he hasn’t gone within 300miles of a ski mountain since.
I have so many questions…
“Regained the confidence to walk” sounds like he was physically able to buy let anxiety hold him back, he doesn’t seem like that kind of guy & it’s more likely his body took a long time to recover physically.
“Hit the family with this” as in he brought you up to the mountian & told you to stand there with a camera but suprised you skiing or he didn’t tell you then just sent you the video?
Also “Glad to see he’s doing well” do you have a very distant relationship with your father? Did you not see him during his recovery? Do you not contact each other apart from random videos?!
Rich people are weird man.
