Still I was surprised the 8+ as far as the rear camera goes holds up well against the 11..of course I’m biased as a 8+ owner…BTW I did pay 950.00 for 256 back 12/2017

Neither to be perfectly honest. I chose the 11Pro because of it’s features and compact size. The Max was too big, the 11 didn’t have a telephoto lens . The 11Pro is very expensive but should last at least 4 years.The 8 is too dated for my liking. I had a 6 Plus prior to 11Pro.
Just trying to figure out what is the next best thing, so far all with the iPhone all I observe is better battery, camera and performance. Nothing outstanding that is a game changer which will want me to jump from my iphone 7plus 128 gb to buy another expensive $1500.00 phone. A holographic phone, now that would be the next best thing for me, it would be small but would project videos twice or thrice the size, it would have a holographic screen to display keyboard and the phone screen, so we don't need a screen, imagine just a phone that could be like a projector….what fun? That's now going to be a game changer….Apple are you listening? I have just given you your next best idea. As always I am always impressed by the research you do and as I said before your reviews are A +. Im looking to buy a new phone but I dont know which one iphone 7+ or 8
I looked at the stats of both and I would say 7+ is better
First of all, Merry Christmas everyone! I bought the 8 Plus a couple of months ago and i’m not upgrading any time soon. The camera is great (not as good as newer iPhones but still a very good camera), the screen is big, great battery life and the ios runs smooth as butter.

I've been noticing that too when I had my XR it doesn't really gave me much headache or my eyes just begins to feel irritated. I have the 11 pro for over 2 months now but I love it.

I am very happy with my 7+. The flickering display would have got me. I am very sensitive to video and it makes me dizzy to the point I have to lay down.

Thank you Aaron for this great video. Your quality is getting better as time goes on. I have an iPhone 8 plus and I was waiting for this comparasion. It was superb. I will expect to wait one more year to upgrade to a new device. Still I don”t know why the iPhone 11 pro max do not have landscape mode. Always in my car I use it in that position. Also the screen, I use it without protector inside my pocket (since two years ago) and I can say the I have no any visible scratches. Does the glass quality changed for the worse in 11 pro max? The 8 Plus has never let me down. The only tangible benefits imo to most people are the battery life and the cameras. But the 8 Plus is perfectly competent in those categories…..the improvements aren't worth twice the price.
I’m on my 11 and I don’t know why but when you talked from the 8 plus (right) I heard you a little clearer than when you talked from the 11 pro max (left) ? I was watching you on landscape AND portrait too. I think I may have to use my computer’s speakers to notice the differences

iPhone 8 at a reasonable price is worth considering & especially if you're a fan of home button. I enjoyed the fulfilment & satisfaction of hitting that home button. Hesitated from jumping to XR from 6 Plus, but man, I love full screen immersive display & once you go full screen its hard, at least for me, to consider going back to bezels. Good video, because many still don't wanna jump the full screen & swiping gestures iPhone & key elements mentioned here will help them make a better decision.

The iPhone 8 Plus on iOS 13 still performs very well. If you plan to Jailbreak then this might be your best bet: Buy the iPhone 8 Plus and don’t update it to iOS 14, as it will probably slow down in that update. I have an iPhone 8 Plus and it performs very well atm, especially with the Checkra1n jailbreak. Just my two cents 🙂

Great video thanks. I think I prefer finger print recognition. My daughter has virtually no finger prints and so she would go for the face recognition iPhone.
