  1. This is very disappointing and it kinda says something about her professionally. She really should have kept this comment off social media. If she was joking, its really hard to understand that intent through the medium of social media.

  2. her apology and explanation was reasonable, I believed it right up until the end of her apology's, last sentence that ruined and discredit her apology & explanation, "It's meaningful when you make the choice to believe women" … she made it a women's issue trying to manipulate and sway people's opinion by playing the "I"m a women" Card and the sjw – fake feminist mantra of "Listen & Believe" a women blindly or else you're under the veiled and real threat of being labeled as a misogynist by social justice whack-jobs and regressive leftists running amuck in Hollywood and Nerdom & Geekdom. Just because one is a woman does not make her infallible or sincerity worth more than that of a man's word in the same situation, she might as well had thrown in a #MeToo in there for good measure.

  3. Disappointed with her reaction. She is a talented and beautiful actress. I understand she might want to move on, but she makes her self look bad and it is a good way to sabotage her own career. It has been difficult for asians to get lead roles and her roles in FOTB and Crazy Rich Asians have been ground breaking. When Margaret Cho broke that barrier in 1994 it took twenty years to have a show on television depicting Asian Americans. She should be proud at how long FOTB has lasted. It is historic. I would hate to see a talent such as her not only sabotage her career, but potentially the careers of other Asian American actors by having one of its biggest stars look difficult to work with. It should not effect others, but sadly in this world there is still too much ignorance and stereotyping that you just don't know if it will have a negative effect or not. Although she has every right not to, I hope she will apologize and give a more in debt explanation to her twitter post. If not for her, then for her fans, fellow cast members and those who will follow her.

  4. Whose radar would she have been on if it wasn't for the exposure of her talent, that this show afforded? How utterly ungratetful, to wish the demise of a show and by extension people you worked with for 5 years out of being selfish. And to post this on a day, when so many shows were canceled, and people lost their job, is a disgusting look.

In years to come she'll be wishing the show was still on. This will only hurt her. It Hollyweird you're easily replaced , and this shows her in a terrible light that people may not want to deal with. How stupid does she think people are with those excuses.

She has a right to feel the way she does, but to be this publicly petty on Twitter AND instagram, and then lie about it? Girl bye. You were in ONE hit film.

This is going to be the final Season anyways.. so this will just hurt her in the long term.

  5. I agree with you. She seems like a straight forward person who talked with producers that she wants to come back but she also wanted to try a new role and the producers seemed to agree at the time then went behind her back. Happens all the time. Everyone is dispensable to them.
