Chinese series, “The Love Lasts Two Minds” faces piracy leak

25 Feb – The producers of the new Chinese series, “The Love Lasts Two Minds” recently expressed their anger over the sales and distribution of pirated copies of the new drama.

As reported on Tencent, the studio released an official statement through its social media account, saying that it has already collected all evidence and submitted it to the public security division to further investigate the issue.

“We hope that everybody will wait patiently for the original drama to be launched and air gradually. We will work together to combat infringement and piracy, as well as overcome these challenges,” the studio added.

Its actors Yukee Chen and Yu Menglong also took to Weibo to ask fans to support the real version of the series instead of helping those who stole from the production.

“The series is the result of the joint effort of all actors and the team who work behind the scenes. We will never allow transmission through illegal channels,” they stated.

The series, which was launched on the Chinese streaming platform iQiyi on 21 February, with two episodes updated per day, tells the story of a general’s daughter who escapes her own wedding and becomes a constable in a county.
