All boils down to QB play. You need a dynamic signal caller to top off the recruiting class…and then keep him.
I’m just hoping we get a game changer at qb in 2021. Either that or Mathis or Beck prove to be capable qbs. Guess we’ll see.

Georgia overrated
Coley has not demonstrated to be a good Offensive Coordinator.
One thing is for sure with the way Fields was treated no chance we get a DT QB anytime soon. And the game is clearly headed in that direction where you force the defense to play 11 v 11. Beck will just be more of the same. With all the great DT QB's in Georgia we cant find one good enough to play at Georgia. Cam wasnt good enough. Deshaun Watson wasnt good enough. Fields wasnt good enough. One day the lightbulb will go on. We may be dead and gone when that happens however.

You can have a number one class, but it's all about what you do with that class…just saying.

Not going to do him any good, They do this every year still cannot win the big games. Still cannot put a offense that can score on the field. Look what he did last year let a Heisman finalist quarterback, that had a perfect season so far; and kept an average quarterback that loses the big game every time. Having recruits is only part of the equation, you have to develop them and have the right system in place to win. His teams do not have the toughness either for real four quarter fights.
The talent difference in the top 5 teams is irrelevant–they are all within 20 recruiting points, very close to each other. If your school is #4 you can win just as easily as a school that is #1. UGA was #1 last year and don't even get in the playoffs. Do something on the field.

What people don’t understand about Alabama is that they could have easily had the number one class again , saban being the ? he is has picked up on these five star players entering the transfer portal , just like georgia number one class in 2018( which was a lot of sabans players that Kirby stole) they lost 3 of the 4 five stars , so it’s different nowadays, it’s not just getting the five stars , it’s keeping them , I’ll bet money 3 or 4 or 5 of Clemson players leave before end of next year , inside sources have found out saban had easily easily had like 2 other five stars if he wanted them , they were there but , in his own words , that rating is brings a lot of poison to locker rooms .. I think dabo fucked up when he went and got 7 almost 8 five ⭐️ players .. half of them will leave . And outside his five star players the rest of his class is not impressive to say the least
It doesn’t matter who they get .. they’ll never beat saban .. especially seeing as how saban is starting to stack Defensive talent again , if they would have played this year it woulda been just as bad as the LSU game .as many injuries as bama had , they still are the number one team in the country , both the games they lost were give aways , one with their back up quarterback . I also wanted to say that CKS is a very smart man and will get the offense fixed… For those who didnt know… He wanted to hire coach Lincoln Riley as his offensive coordinator a few years ago, but he was hired as Oklahoma's head coach that same year so Kirby had no shot at getting him then. Man I can only imagine just how dominate a team we would have at UGA with those 2 geniuses running our offense and defense together……WOW! UGA defense and the OKL offense together on one team!!! DAMMIT!!! It woulda been spectacular too! That Rose bowl performance from the 2 teams comes to mind too. lol Man it woulda been awesome to behold.
Unbelievable to me how these so called UGA fans whine and cry about coach Smart and his coaching abilities, or should I say disabilities they think. Coach Saban wished he was as successful as Kirby is this far into his head coaching career, Saban wasn't an all knowing master coach in his 4th year as a head coach. Bsides, Saban's defense brought him early success at Bama which snoballed into great recruiting- Just like what happened at USC for or 6 years,once he got 2 or 3 top 3 classes thats when he began to dominate CFB at Bama. Do you know who was 2 of Saban's top recruiters DURING HIS RUN OF TOP CLASSES? Yes, Coach Kirby and Coach McGee, who have been reeling in top 3 classes for the last 2 years at UGA for us… this will be 3 in a row and NOW we will be in the discussion every year…..oh wait…we HAVE been in the discussion the last 3 YEARS ALREADY PEOPLE!!! We just lost the title to bama 2 years ago …..I get it… I'm a Dawg fan too… I'm 47 so I seen ALOT of losing since the Coach Dooley era…..I want that Natty just like you guys do…it'll come, Kirby AINT STUPID folks, he will adapt offensively. His defense was great this year, with sub par LB talent, slightly above average DT play, and no size other than Jordan Davis at NT to clog the middle, but still stopped every offense they faced except LSU- . Hey I hate it… the year Bama is finally beatable we get a freak LSU team come out of left field and knock us on our asses….DAMMIT!!! But still folks you know this to be true……we are LIGHT YEARS ahead of where we were in the Richt era, and that time was already the best era since Dooley, no doubt about it. So, just Chill, we'll be back next year with an even stronger defense by far and a freakishly talented offense that will have another year to adapt, change, and make this team a natty title winner! IT WILL HAPPEN!!! We get Ringo, Washington, and Evans and it's a wrap in 2021 for everyone. If we dont win it in 2020, we will get it in 2021. Cmon people just think of this way as well – there is only so many 5 star players in the country every year – You know the guys that stand out at the HS games like men among boys? Yeah those dudes, those are the dudes coming to UGA now under CKS and that also means they are NOT going to Bama and Clemson!! So it compounds it and helps us make up the ground on them even quicker….just like we have. Everybody said 3 years ago that Kirby was building something special at UGA and 2017 we were a year early. Well, we just flipped 2017 and 2018 basically. Now it's our turn to dominate CFB for the next 5 years…..guaranteed by the 5 star division rule! lol
