The closing ceremony of the 12th National Theater Festival was held on Friday 30th of August, presided by the artist Ahmed Abdel Aziz.

The ceremony witnessed the presence of a large number of stars of art, headed by Safa Abul Saud, Mustafa Shaaban, Ashraf Fahmi, Mohammed Riad, Abdul Rahman Abu Zahra, Norhan, and others.

He was awarded the Special Jury Prize for “Cinema Misr” and the Excellence Award for “Crime in Maadi” directed by Ashraf Abdel Baqi and “Ritual Signals and Transformations”.

The special jury prize went to the artist Mahmoud Abdel Moaty, the best playwriting award, worth 25 thousand pounds, won by Walid Youssef for the event "In the Land of Happiness", and the award for the best performance of the second role of women, valued at 15 thousand pounds equally Nihad Fathi and Martina Adel, the best performance role The second men, worth 15 thousand pounds, shared Hatem El-Gayar on the show “Sultan Al-Harafish”, and Abed Anani on the presentation of yellow days.

He won the prize for the best role of the first woman, worth LE 20,000 Rabab Tarek for a yellow days fair with Jihan Rajab for the “Ritual of Signals and Transformations”.
