KING GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — 4 youngsters have been injured — three critically — after a driver ran a pink gentle Sunday night time.
Virginia State Police stated the crash occurred on the intersection of Route 301 and Dahlgren Street round 8:18 p.m.
64-year-old Michael Antunez was touring eastbound on Dahlgren Street when he ran a pink gentle, putting a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder touring northbound on Route 301, VSP stated. The influence of the crash prompted the Nissan to flip a number of occasions.
The 24-year-old driver of the Nissan was carrying her seatbelt and suffered minor accidents. VSP stated a 10-year-old passenger was carrying a seat belt and was transported for remedy of minor accidents.
“An 8-year-old, a 6-year-old, and an toddler weren’t correctly secured in youngster restraint gadgets,” VSP stated.
The Eight and 6-year-old suffered life-threatening accidents and have been airlifted to the hospital. The toddler was taken by ambulance for remedy of great accidents.
Antunez, who was carrying a seatbelt, was not injured within the crash. The person was charged with failure to obey a visitors gentle.
