When I have students build food chains and webs I got so tired of hearing…
“What do bears eat?” ?
“What do grasshoppers eat?” ?
They spent so much time trying to figure out who eats who they would miss the bigger picture of energy transfer and trophic levels. ?So I created cards that show the predators and prey of every individual so class time wasn’t wasted.
