Jakarta – Gerindra Party Secretary General Sugiono has given instructions to all cadres to respond to floods and landslides in Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra. Sugiono asked cadres and wing organizations to carry out humanitarian actions. “I hereby appeal to all cadres, sympathizers, party administrators, Gerindra party wing administrators, to carry out humanitarian actions to help, ease the burden on our brothers and sisters affected by this disaster,” Sugiono said in a video uploaded on Gerindra’s Instagram, Thursday (27/11/2025). As well as the establishment of health posts and public kitchens. “These humanitarian actions can take the form of collecting food, establishing public kitchens and especially the Kesira wing, we ordered them to build health service posts to anticipate diseases arising from the disaster,” he said. “Then carry out cleaning in post-disaster areas. I ordered the regional coordinators to immediately coordinate with party administrators in affected areas in the Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra regions, to inventory the needs of the community and distribute the collected aid so that it can reach the hands of those who are entitled to receive it,” he added. Sugiono called for comprehensive action. He hopes that the burden on residents affected by the disaster can be eased through this humanitarian action. “We ask that this action be carried out comprehensively, actively and hopefully this effort can help ease the burden on our brothers and sisters who are affected in the areas affected by the disaster,” he concluded.
