Mustafa Shaaban out of the Ramadan race

It seems that the Egyptian star Mustafa Shaaban has left the next Ramadan 2020 drama race, after he was supposed to participate in it through the series "So that the smoke does not fly", taken from the film of the same name, and starred by artist Adel Imam, Suhair Ramzi and Sanaa Shafie .

The reason for the series’s exit from the Ramadan race was that the author Medhat Al-Adl did not finish writing the episodes of the series, especially since Al-Adl does not use a writing workshop, and he prefers to write his own work.

Medhat El-Adl had started writing the first five episodes of the series, but he could not complete, especially as he is busy writing another dramatic work that will be shown in the upcoming Ramadan 2020.

A source close to Mustafa Shaaban confirmed that it is possible that the project will not be completely completed, and it is possible that Mustafa Shaaban may choose another scenario to compete with in the Ramadan race 2021.

On the other hand, Mustafa Shaaban had responded to the criticisms he had been subjected to because of his new series "So that the smoke would not fly", and some accused him of trying to imitate the artist Adel Imam, who presented the same story in the eighties of the last century.

Mostafa Shaaban, said during a seminar held on the sidelines of the 51st Cairo International Book Fair, that it is preferable to talk about the series after it is shown on the screens.

Shaban added, that the novel of the late writer, Ihsan Abdel Quddus, is not exclusive to anyone, and it is available to everyone, and we wait until the series is presented, and then we see whether it will succeed or not.

The artist, Adel Imam, had commented on the return of Mustafa Shaaban, to present his movie "So that the smoke does not fly", saying: "May God grant success to everyone, and every creator is free to choose what he presents on the screen."

Adel Imam had starred in the movie "So the Smoke May Not Fly" in 1984, which is about a story by the Egyptian writer, Ihsan Abdel Quddus, and co-starring actress Suheir Ramzi.
