Nawada, November 26 (IANS). Commissioned by NALSA and Bihar State Legal Services Authority, Patna, a publicity vehicle was flagged off to create awareness about the upcoming National Lok Adalat. It is organized on December 13. For the successful organization of National Lok Adalat and public awareness, a publicity vehicle/awareness van was flagged off on November 26 from the main gate of the Civil Court, Nawada. The awareness van was flagged off by Chief District and Sessions Judge cum Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Nawada Shilpi Soniraj. This publicity vehicle will visit major intersections, markets and public places of the city to make the common people aware of the upcoming National Lok Adalat. The vehicle will also distribute leaflets to encourage citizens to take advantage of the Rashtriya Lok Adalat to be held on December 13 for the disposal of their pending cases. On this occasion, in the presence of Shilpi Soniraj, all the District and Additional District and Sessions Judges, Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Nawada, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Judicial Magistrate First Class, Defense/Panel Advocates, Para Legal Volunteers, Employees of the Civil Services Author, the District Court Staff and all the persons of the Legal Services Authority were present. Rashtriya Lok Adalat hears motor vehicle accident claims or compensation disputes, family matters involving divorce, maintenance, custody and succession. Along with this, property disputes, ownership disputes and tenancy issues are also heard. Money recovery and consumer complaints, complaints against businesses or service providers are also heard. Hearings are also held on labor and employment issues. Some cases in Lok Adalat are disposed of faster than ordinary courts. No legal or court costs are charged here.
