Emmanuel Macron apologizes to Albania for national anthem in Euro 2020 qualifier

French President Emmanuel Macron has apologized to his country for a gag of broadcasting the Albanian anthem, ahead of the two countries' Group H match in Euro 2020 qualifiers, Prime Minister Eddie Rama has revealed.
The match between France and Albania, which ended with the victory of France (4-1), stadium "de France", was delayed for a few minutes, after playing the anthem of Andorra, in the stadium, instead of the Albanian anthem.
The organizers dealt with the mistake by making another mistake when they apologized through loudspeakers initially for a "technical error" by apologizing to the Armenian fans.

Albanian fans in the stands booed when the anthem was played, before the right anthem was played amid applause from the fans, to start the game after a delay of about five minutes.
Albanian Prime Minister, wrote on his Twitter account: President Macron offered me with his sincere apologies for the flagrant lapse committed by the French Football Federation with our national anthem, the French President considered this lapse an unacceptable mistake and appreciated the reaction of our players.
UEFA has confirmed on its website that Andorra's national anthem has been played by mistake, noting that the latter will be the guest of France on Tuesday evening, on the same pitch in the next round of qualifying for "Euro 2020".
Sources in the coaching staff of the French national team pointed out that the president of the local federation, Noel Lugrett, apologized to officials in the Albanian mission, and coach "Duke" Didier Deschamps the same after the game.
