Golkar Papua distributes humanitarian aid to disaster victims in Aceh

Jakarta – The Golkar Papua Regional Leadership Council (DPD) handed over humanitarian aid worth IDR 406 million through the Golkar Aceh DPD to be distributed to victims of flash floods and landslides in Aceh. Golkar Secretary General Muhamad Sarmuji praised the local Golkar initiative which reflected the value of national solidarity. “This assistance from Golkar Papua is a form of national solidarity. Even though the distance between Papua and Aceh is from the eastern tip to the western tip of Indonesia, it reflects the attitude of one unit as a nation, working together to help each other,” Sarmuji told journalists on Sunday (21/12/2025). We, on behalf of the Aceh Golkar Party DPD, will distribute this aid mandate well and ensure that it is actually received by the people who need it through the disaster,” said. He added that this assistance has a very deep meaning for the people of Aceh. “We are very touched by this assistance.
