Congress strike, proposal for breach of privilege against MLA Indu Raj Narwal accepted

The last day of the winter session of Haryana Assembly began with Question Hour. In the Question Hour, questions were asked about waterlogging and health facilities. Congress walked out after the House refused to take notice or hold a brief discussion. Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that despite Congress being the main opposition party, no notice or short discussion was accepted. The Speaker said that the motion of no confidence was passed, and it covered all the issues. Therefore, the attention and small discussion of the opposition was not accepted. After this, the Congressman walked out of the house. MLA Shakti Rani Sharma moved a privilege motion against Congress MLA Indu Raj Narwal, which was sent to the Speaker’s consent committee. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini told the House that before 2014 only 700 MBBS doctors and four specialist doctors were recruited every year. Now every year 2,500 MBBS doctors and around 200 specialist doctors are recruited in the government. Earlier, no thought was given to how health facilities could be improved. During the tenure of our government, hospitals with 30 beds were converted into 50 beds, hospitals with 50 beds were converted into 100 beds, hospitals with 100 beds were converted into 200 beds and hospitals with 200 beds were converted into 400 beds. The process of opening a medical college in each district is underway. Hospitals with all kinds of facilities are being built in every district.
