The winter one I can understand if the lot isn’t well plowed. Can’t see the edges of asphalt or the rock under the snow.
I’ve never hit one and don’t have any reason to think I will, but the damn things *still* make me a tiny bit nervous when they disappear behind the fender.
That is a bad fucking place to put a giant rock. If you are turning right its below eye level. If it keeps happening than maybe placement is more to blame than the drivers.
