A factory of improbable liquor is being run in rooms built like a lodge in a house in Jagdamba Colony, Khemnichak of Ramakrishna Nagar police station area. The Prohibition Department team conducted a raid based on secret information and recovered a large quantity of manufactured and semi-finished counterfeit liquor, chemicals, spirits, bottles, lids, wrappers, QR codes, stickers and packaging machines. According to Central Prohibition Department official Prem Kumar, hydrometers were used to make liquor of well-known branded companies. With which the strength of the drink was measured and it was prepared like the original. Complete packaging arrangements from brand companies like Royal Stag, Royal Green, Signature, After Dark, Blender, At PM, Imperial Blue, Black Dog were found on the spot. In the raid conducted under the direction of Inspector Ajit Kumar of the Prohibition Department, 53,100 liters of spirit, 4,000 liters of chemicals, 59,415 liters of ready liquor, 1,550 empty bottles, 2,500 lids, 2,000 QR codes and 1,000 stickers were recovered. Apart from this, beverage making machines and packaging materials were also seized. Inspector Ajit Kumar said that using hydrometer, fake liquor is prepared in such a way that no one can have any doubt. Consuming this drink made of chemical mixture can be fatal. A factory has been operating here illegally for a long time. As soon as they got wind of the raid, the liquor mafia fled the scene. According to which no one was arrested. The room in which the factory operated was sealed. It is established in whose name the house was rented and who are the people behind it. The team included inspector Ajit Kumar along with W Kumar, Vinita Kumari, ASI Ajit Patel and constables Abhijit, Pradeep, Manwant and Ankit. The Prohibition Department called it a major success against spurious liquor in the capital.
