Bandung – Bekasi regent Ade Kuswara and his father HM Kunang have been named as suspects in the project debt bond bribery case. The Ministry of Home Affairs has appointed Bekasi Deputy Regent Asep Surya Atmaja as Acting Regent. “Yes, that’s right, now a radiogram has been issued from the Minister of Interior to the Governor, from the Governor to Bekasi Regency. And now the position is held by the Deputy Regent, because the applicable laws are like that,” West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi said as reported by detikJabar, Sunday (21/12/2025). One of the things discussed was the 2026 RAPBD for Bekasi Regency to ensure that development projects can continue there. “There are several aspects of financial administration that we will improve immediately. On Tuesday, the West Java Provincial Government team will go to Bekasi to review the 2026 RAPBD that was previously recommended, but I will study the details further,” he said. Read more here.
