Jakarta – The Nurul Musthofa Council and Gubah Al Haddad Mbah Priok held the ‘North Jakarta Dhikr and Salawat’ event at the Mbah Priok Tomb, North Jakarta. The chairman of the committee, Habib Rizal Habsy, praised the performance of the police in securing the event. “Thank you for the service and security provided by the Tanjung Priok Port Police, both before the activity started, during the activity and even until the ‘North Jakarta Dhikr and Prayer was finished’ event. Where the event ran smoothly, orderly and safely,” Rizal said in a written statement, Sunday (12/21/2025). SCROLL TO CONTINUE CONTENT The event took place on Saturday, December 20, from 17.00 WIB until 00.25 this morning. The event was attended by a number of habibs and ulama including Habib Ali Zaenal Alaydrus, Habib Ali Uraidiy bin Sayyidil Walid Al Habib Hasan Assegaf, Habib Abdullah Al Athas, Habib Bagir Alaydrus and an ulama from Gaza, Palestine, Assayid Jaani Sheikh Amar. Tanjung Priok Port Police Chief AKBP Martuasah Hermindo Tobing directly led the security of ‘North Jakarta Dhikr and Salawat’. He mobilized 170 members, who were joined by 30 Kodim 0502/North Jakarta staff, as well as 7 Satpol PP staff. The series of activities started with reading Yasin and Tawasul, asmaul husna, salawat of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and tausiyah. The committee also declared Indonesia Raya as a form of nationalism for the congregation. “We thank the ‘North Jakarta Dhikr and Salawat’ committee for working with us to maintain security so that the event took place solemnly and smoothly,” said Martuasah, who represents the joint forces conducting security. He expressed his belief that the ‘North Jakarta Dhikr and Salawat’ event at Mbah Priok’s grave will bring blessings for the nation’s peace besides strengthening faith. (aud/fca)
