59-year-worn arrested for sexually assaulting a minor in Mumbai’s Dharavi area

The Dharavi police on Saturday arrested a 59-year-worn man for sexually assaulting a five-year-worn minor at Dharavi.

Survivor’s 32-year-worn mom in her assertion acknowledged, “On Friday midday the neighbour often called her daughter at his home the put he gave her ₹10 and requested her to defend aloof after which he sexually assaulted her.”

“The incident acquired right here to mild when minor’s mom requested in regards to the money which she had alongside together with her. The survivor later narrated the incident,” assertion reads.

Following the incident, mom decided to fable it and visited Dharavi police station and filed a criticism in opposition to the accused. An officer from Dharavi police station acknowledged, “We registered a case under fragment 354 (assault or jail stress to girl with intent to outrage her modesty), 376 (punishment for rape) of Indian Penal Code and fragment 4 (punishment for penetrative sexual assault), 8 (punishment for sexual assault), 10 (punishment for aggravated sexual assault) and 12 (punishment for sexual harassment) of Safety Of Youngsters From Sexual Offences Act and arrested the accused.”
