The artist Alaa Zeinhom revealed the details of his investigation in the Syndicate of Representative Professions after the recent crisis he was exposed to, after he was suspended from the Syndicate due to his participation in a theatrical work that includes a group of artistic talents who are not registered in the Syndicate of Actors.
Alaa Zeinhom, in a press statement, said: "I was investigated in the presence of the artist Ashraf Zaki, captain of the actors. The crisis was clarified, as I have nothing to do with these young people other than the unionists."
He added: "The union has confirmed that there are no contracts concluded between me and those responsible for this work. Rather, it was merely courtesy of these young people. Ashraf Zaki advised me to take care of this matter and not to exceed the union's laws and regulations."
He continued: "The investigation ended there, and I thought it would be saved after the union understood the truth of the matter."
It is noteworthy that the Syndicate of Representative Professions issued a decision to suspend the artist Alaa Zeinhom because of his participation in the play entitled "The birth of his owner and his pawns" that includes a group of non-union artists, which violates the laws of the union.
