NEW DELHI (Reuters) – Bollywood actor Prashant Narayanan has been arrested after being involved in a fraud, police said on Monday.

The police spokesman told IANS that he had arrested the 50-year-old Edakad-born actor and his Bangladeshi wife, both of whom are now in custody, in a fraud case.

The author, Thomas Panicker, who was the producer of a film, in which Narayanan acted in 2017, after the film shares the two, but the producer was defrauded and then submitted the report that was taken to arrest and arrest him.

Pratap said he arrived with a team of seven Kerala police officers in Mumbai and after three days' observation, they managed to arrest the actor and the court ordered his detention.

Narayanan had completed his education in Delhi, where he entered the artwork. In the early 1990s, he made Mumbai a permanent place for him, and since then he has had no reason to go back in his film career.

He has worked in over 50 films, mostly in Indian and South Indian, among his notable films, Shadows of Time, Murder 2 and Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II.
