Kalbash 3, Touching Shoulders and Baraka Wins National Human Rights Awards for Drama

The National Human Rights Council (NCHR) Awards for Ramadan Drama Competition 2019 was held at the small theater in the Egyptian Opera House in the presence of Mohamed Faek, President of the National Council for Human Rights, and Gamal Fahmy, member of the Council and Chairman of the Cultural Committee of the Council.

The winners and directors included Yasser Jalal, Amir Karara, Fathi Abdel Wahab, Mohamed Lotfy, Mohamed Abou Dawoud, Iman El Assi, Amr Saad, Mohamed Ezz and Ahmed Halawa.

Also present were a number of writers and dramatists, as well as public figures interested in the drama industry, heads of national media councils, directors of satellite channels, as well as representatives of ministries and concerned bodies supporting human rights and a number of representatives of dramatic production companies.

It is noteworthy that the jury was chaired by Gamal Fahmi, and the members of the director Inam Mohamed Ali, critic Tarek El-Shenawi, writer Karam al-Najjar, critic Maher Zuhdi, critic Rami Abdel Razek, and writer Khairiya Beblawi.
