This is a joint clothes hamper. Kenneth and I had the same one just different sizes when we met, at some point we ended up with the bigger frame, and the smaller bag . Since the smaller bag doesn’t rest on the ground, the straps broke. At the time a new hamper was a big expense, so I sewed new straps, which I’m very proud of their durability. Now the frame is falling apart at every joint and I repaired every joint with fishing string ? As I’m working on this, the boys said “Why don’t you just buy a new one?!” I suppose I could, but now it’s too funny to me, and pretty sentimental.
