जन सुराज आंदोलन के संस्थापक प्रशांत किशोर (पीके) ने अपने ऊपर उठे सवालों का जवाब देते हुए पार्टी और व्यक्तिगत वित्त का खुलासा किया है. उन्होंने कहा कि कई लोग यह सवाल उठाते थे कि पीके के पास पैसा कहां से आता है. इसलिए अब यह साफ कर देना जरूरी है कि पैसा कहां से आता है और कहां खर्च होता है. प्रशांत किशोर ने बताया कि पिछले तीन सालों में उन्हें 241 करोड़ रुपये सलाहकार शुल्क (कंसल्टेंसी फीस) के तौर पर मिले. उन्होंने कहा, “जिसे भी मैंने राजनीतिक सलाह दी, उसने मुझे पैसा दिया. यह पैसा सरस्वती का है, मेहनत से कमाया गया है. मैंने चोरी नहीं की, केवल अपने काम का पैसा लिया है.” उन्होंने आगे बताया कि इन तीन सालों में उन्होंने 30 करोड़ रुपये GST और 20 करोड़ रुपये आयकर के रूप में जमा किए हैं. इतना ही नहीं, पीके ने दावा किया कि उन्होंने अपनी व्यक्तिगत आय से 98 करोड़ रुपये जन सुराज पार्टी को दान किए हैं. प्रशांत किशोर ने कहा, “बिहार की जनता चाहे मुझे पैसा दे या न दे, मेरे पास जो भी पैसा है, मैं उसे बिहार की जनता के लिए खर्च करूंगा.”
